IT Executive – Male (Sri Lanka)

Key Responsibilities
– Maintain local servers — Operating system and hardware support
– Maintain network equipment —Switch, Firewall and routers etc
– Manage new computer setup and other IT requirements for new staff
– Responsible for maintenance and control of IT Hardware inventory and application licenses of customers
– Interact with IT service providers at operational level for any connectivity troubleshooting support required.
– Perform and monitor daily backups and offsite tape storage
– Perform other duties and special projects as assigned from time to time
– Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
– Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
Profile:
– Degree/diploma in IT or Computer Science
– 2 or 3 years’ experience in Information Technology management
– First level support knowledge in windows operating system, file and proxy servers tape drives and printers
– Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
– Strong problem solving and communication skill required
– Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skill
