Job Description:
A software developers responsible for building and deploying tools for systems management, integration and automation, predominantly in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Primary responsibilities will be to design, develop applications, manage their deployment, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
– Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
– Manage code in Git
– Environment preparation (dev/staging/prod) and CI/CD deployment
– Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
– Help maintain a suite of existing Powershell scripts
– Automation of System administration and integration tasks

Skills:
– Proficient in Powershell
– Proficient in version control using Git
– Proficient in at least one continuous integration tool with a focus on separation of configuration and code
– Good in algorithms and data structures
– Good at writing clean, readable code
– Skill for writing reusable libraries
– Familiarity with scripting for Microsoft cloud services including Azure, Office 365
-Familiarity with consuming Web API’s
– Understanding of object-oriented programming
– Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
– Knowledge of concurrency patterns
-Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
– Implementing unit tests

Non-requisite Added advantages:
-Familiarity with other interpreted languages such as Python
-Familiarity with creating Web API’s
-System administration knowledge on Windows server, desktop, virtualization and cloud technologies
