SQL Server Specialist (Sri Lanka)

Our client is one of the world’s leading software companies. We are currently looking for a talented individual to provide technical support for Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Data Warehouse platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze query performance, data loading, connectivity issues and provide root cause analysis
• Assist customers with complex query execution plan analysis, query tuning and schema refinement
• Sharedomain and technical expertise, provide technical mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members
Requirements:
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline • 3+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience
• Experience in database optimization and performance tuning • Hands on experience in SSDT, SSMS and ETL tools (SSIS)
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Having One or many of the following will be advantageous:
• Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory, Failover cluster
• Experience with SOL Azure or Windows Azure
• Experience with data warehousing design and process concepts.
• MCSA MCSE and/or MVP certificates in SQL Server.
Excellent communication skills and strong troubleshooting are essential elements to be successful in this position.
